All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
OT Outpatient
On Call not required.
Skills Required: Outpatient, Acute Care, LTC/SNF.
Preferred: National patient safety goals/core measures, Billing, Feeding Techniques - Oral/Motor, disability sequence test.
Prior pediatric and IP experience preferred.
Required: Acute disorder, chronic disorder, functional activities, Standardized Assessments, developmental testing/treatment, mental retardation
Ability to transition from inpatient, to OP and LTC.
Block Schedule: Yes
If candidates have worked as Permanent Staff for any Providence facility they must be separated for at least 3 months prior to working as a traveler.
Largely outpatient pediatric population. Department serves hospital (IP and swing bed), LTC and outpatient.

Holidays: traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
Floating: Candidates will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals near by.
Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year (6 months for CNA’s) of employment total within the last three years within a comparable specialty/setting that they are booked
Return Staff Policy: Permanent staff must be separated from Providence for a minimum of 3 months to return as a traveler.
Travelers can only work for a maximum of 1 calendar year in their assignment. Travelers are then required to take a minimum of a 6-month break before returning for another traveler assignment at the same facility.
