Pulmonary Registered Respiratory Therapist for NICU/PICU
Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
Must have 2 years’ current NICU and/or PICU experience required (no exceptions) and RRT licensure (CRT is not acceptable).
Provides cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients in the Hospital and/or outpatients that require cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and/or ventilatory support, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
ACLS, and PALS if obtained, must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
Weekends/Holidays required. Floating required- May need to support PresNow locations. May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays required.
Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. May need to support PresNow locations. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
Scrubs: Required and not provided by the facility.
