Travel Allied (Surgical Tech) - Operating Room

Guaranteed 32 hours per week

Shift Notes: Days + Call - Monday to Friday 0645-1515 + call once/twice a week 1515-0645; occasionally (once every 6 weeks) M-F 1500-2330 shift or 0900-1730 shift; occasionally (once every 13 weeks) Sat/Sun 0700-1930 shift. Cover Weekend call approximately every 4th/5th weekend, Fri 1515-Mon 0645, first to float

Must be willing to work holidays- rotate with perm staff.

What is call response time? 15 minutes, 8 hour reprieve shifts for post call, sleep room available - housing should also be available nearby to make call

Candidates must be proficient in either Ortho/Neuro OR General/Robotics

OR - GENERAL/ROBOTICS

Common Cases: Peds-Geriatrics, cysto, Davinci XI for General/GYN*/Urology, ION robotic cases, Open Bellies, endo/ GI experience- scope experience (ok with needing a resher) ION Robot, Davinci XI, Stryker towers; GYN

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have 3 years of experience and experience with Open bellies GYN, Davinci Xi for general, Endo

MUST be willing to float to cross train to ortho cases if needed to be second scrub. MUST be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter (and will get train that day) If refused supplemental time of an not getting paid- RDO day), Ability to pick up extra for 1:1 sitting; we do this to supplement hours if we have a low case volume

OR - ORTHO/NEURO

Average # of cases per day: 25-30 cases per day

Common Cases: ortho neuro total joints(hips, knees, shoulders), sports medicine, arthroscopies, neuro-spinal fusions, cervical and lumbar cases, micro discs, cranis, and no awake large neuro cases

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have 3 years of Ortho/Neuro OR experience

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
