Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from any number of months.
Experience with Epic is required from last 12 months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Vermont license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
Vaccinations
COVID vaccination required. Declinations not accepted.
COVID booster required. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
Flu vaccination required. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Every other weekend required; Typically it would be one week of nights followed by a week of days, but there could be mid-week rotations as well.

Unit does their best to allow appropriate time off between rotations, typically 48 hours.

Viable candidates would be ER RNs, infusion RNs.

Strong IV skills, AVA Certified, PICC skills

Must have large trauma level 1 experience in the last year

PICC line placement is not a requirement but please note if traveler is certified

Required to float to place PIV, trouble shoot PIV and PICC lines, ports, dsg. changes, draw bloods as back up, etc; Place peripheral IVs at the bedside, remove PIVs, trouble shoot lines, completes dsg
