Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Oncology

The facility is not accepting new travelers. Submissions must have completed at least one travel contract.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Must have previously worked a night shift within the last year

Hours not guaranteed week of orientation or during the holidays where the unit is closed

No blocked scheduling allowed

Weekends: Rotate every other

Holidays: As needed

Float Requirements : To alike units, based on census - Med Surg, Orthopedics, Bariatrics and PCU – possibility of floating to Respiratory Care to care for COVID patients

No new travelers

Must have oncology & bariatric experience.

Case Type: Medical admissions to the unit include patients with cancer, pneumonia, hypoxia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, dehydration, deep vein thrombosis, infections, gastrointestinal disorders, pancreatitis, substance abuse, mental status changes; Surgical admissions include patients undergoing general, bariatric, vascular, urological, gynecological, endoscopic, plastic, podiatric, ear, nose, and throat surgical procedures
