Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required.
12 months of Wound / Ostomy Care experience is required.
3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Additional Details:

No Block Scheduling requests Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

There is no shift differential for AM/PM.

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· Ability to educate and treat ostomy patients

· Ability to stage wounds, make treatment recommendations, and educate nurses

· Must be able to travel between campuses on daily basis

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Participation/ in Pressure injury Prevention and Skin Care Champion meetings,

WOCN or equivalent

Floating Area(s):

· Wound & Ostomy patients will be seen at the Doctors Regional and Bay Area Acute Care Hospitals

Dress Code:

· Scrub Color/Attire – Royal Blue or professional attire with lab coat

Weekends and On call(if any)

· No Weekends, No Call
