Requirements
Experience
24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required.
Experience with Meditech is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references in order to be considered for this role

Guaranteed Hours 36
Scheduling:
- Weekend rotation: every other ** - Will work 4 days one week and 3 days the next week – this is mandatory**
- Can we approve time off? 7 days
- Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? No call
- Holiday Expectations: yes, confirm rotation
Floating: Units: Stepdown and MedSurg with ratios of 1:5-6
Patient Types:
- CVA/TIA in need of TPA administration; Spinal surgical – ACDF, Laminectomy
- Stepdown unit overflow -- AFIB/RVR, DKA, HTN, COPD, ARF, s/p Heart Caths, etc.
Skills required:
- Titratable gtts: Cardene, Cardizem, Insulin, Heparin, Neo, Levophed – request manager approval to offer without this experience
- Chest tube management, traches, Peritoneal Dialysis, ISTAT, CSF (lumbar) drains (preferred)
- Traveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival (includes MedSurg RN)
EMR: Meditech Expanse
Travelers must be separated for 1 year if previously a perm staff
