24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from last 4 years.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours 48

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Laboring patients 32wks and greater, Elective Induction of labor, Medical Induction of Labor, Stable Antepartum Patients, Postpartum Patients, Well Newborns.

Preferred skills: L&D, PP, and circulating experience required, triage experience.

Weekend Requirements: based on unit needs

Holiday Requirements: based on unit needs

Call or standby requirement: No

Floating Requirements: Travelers required to float to like units within valley (Nampa L&D and Boise L&D).

Scrub Color: Blue scrubs provided on unit.

AWHONN guidelines for ratios: AWHONN standards (primarily 1:1 in L&D and 1:6 couple care in PP).

How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: Customized based on each traveler, typically 4-6 shifts.
