Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit

All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility

Special requirements: Positions will be either straight Day or Night Shift, 7 Day/7 NOC are needed. These positions are to open 12 additional Acute Care (Med/Surg/Tele/Progressive) beds on 2VP. They will support 84 open positions on 6 Adult Inpatient Units so our Resource RNs can staff the new unit beds until we can hire RNs for the unit.

RTO must be listed at time of submittal, post submission RTO will NOT be approved

MUST request all RTO / specific scheduling requests up-front during submittal. Post submittal/offer RTO may not be considered or granted. Inflexibility beyond contracted schedule and/or RTO may lead to termination of contract and system DNR.

Return Providence Staff must wait 3 months before submitting as traveler

Modules:

• Modules are completed pre-start, and annually
• Time spent on modules is self-reported, completion is recorded in Workramp transcripts

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only)

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

BLS must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY.
