Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
Responsibilities: to include Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology and/or Structural Heart. Ensures that complete and accurate documentation is maintained, ensures accurate medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case load, Respond and provide emergent care, performs administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of equipment, and cleanliness of the lab. Assures preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance in accordance to PHS, Local and Federal regulations.
CERTS/REQUIREMENTS/: Associates Degree in RN program, radiology, Prefer 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP, procedures in performing scrubbing, circulating and monitoring/recording duties.
SHIFTS: shift start 7am - on call required weekdays Yes .
On call at both Rust Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital , weekends required Friday 1730- Monday 0700 & holidays required for call only typically to Presbyterian Hospital & Rust Medical Center. Floating required Yes (typically to Presbyterian Hospital & Rust Medical Center . Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
Scrubs required
Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
