Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.

Guaranteed Hour: 36

Skills required: good IV Skills, assist with central lines (UAC, PICC, UVC), vent experience, NAS care (eat, sleep, console treatment and morphine & wean), familiarity with: Bubble CPAP, High flow, nasal cannula, and neo puff, APGAR scoring, and must have experience with attending deliveries, newborn receiving, baby catching and stabilizing; NO jet ventilation

Patient types: 34 weeks and above, feed/growers, ESC, IV ABX, CPS holds, Bili babies, higher acuity babies will be stabilized and transferred out, diverse population requiring language interpretation often (combo of in-house translators or computer)

Floating: L&D for deliveries, baby catching/receiving, or newborn care

Call: No call (voluntary only)

Scrubs: teal scrubs provided
