Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting. 3 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it's within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.

Mon-Fri.

No weekends, no major holidays.

August start date to cover a medical leave.

Required Exp: Ideal overall experience is? 2 years in the acute care hospital environment.

Preferred Experience: Familiarity in working with patients in a hospital setting, ICU experience would be an added bonus.

Experience in working with diverse patient populations is also a plus.

Experience with EPIC documentation is a plus.

Skill Level: Must be familiar with the acute care hospital setting, have excellent patient handling skills and transfer techniques.

Inpatient Rehab department is made up of PT and OT. We provide coverage throughout the inpatient floors of the hospital. Patients seen include those ranging from birth through elderly age, can have varying impairments related to musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical diagnoses.

Average Patient Ratio or Patients seen in a shift: Goal productivity is 5.2 hours in a 8 hour day. Therapists usually manage a patient list of 8-15 patients, and are usually able to see between 6-7 patients.

We are looking for someone who is competent working with a diverse patient population in a fast paced acute care hospital environment, and comfortable working with a wide variety of patient diagnoses.
