This is for the General Cardiac Unit.
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes with at least 2-years’ experience and Cerner OR EPIC experience.
Patient Types: STEMI, post heart cath with interventions, respiratory failure/ventilated, post cardiac arrest, post stroke care, renal failure, hypertensive emergency, sepsis, critical care needs
Skills required: Vent care, hemodynamic monitoring, medication titrations, arterial line, IABP, Impella, EKOS, CRRT, Chest tube, Swan ganz catheter, FloTrac monitoring, titratable drip management, hypothermia protocol
Floating: If yes, where? Any like unit/patient location (MS-MS, MS-ICU task, MS-ER/MS holds; ICU-ICU, ICU-MS task or limit of 3, ICU-ER/ICU holds)
Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Every other weekend, may work back to back weekends (rare)
Holiday Expectations: One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy; Holiday Expectations: This does not mean they will automatically be scheduled for those dates, but we will not contractually guarantee to being off prior to arrival.
Scrub Color: Any
No RTO will be approved during the following dates: Christmas / New Year’s: 12/21 - 1/1 Martin Luther King Jr. Day: 1/19 - 1/20 Valentine's Day: 2/13 - 2/16 The entire month of March Easter: 4/18-4/20
