Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required.
24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required.
Experience with Cerner is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

Additional Details:

Must start December 2.

Must work 48 hours per week.

No Holiday RTO - Must be willing to work the holidays: Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, & New Years Day

Accepts 1st time traveler.

Weekend Required: Every other weekend.

Floating is required.

RTO must be included at time of submittal or will not be approved - No Exceptions.

Return Travelers: If a traveler takes a break after an assignment and returns within 18 months, re- orientation is not required.

2 references in the profile at time of submittal from a charge nurse or above - required.

50% of holidays on contract is required.

50% of weekends on contract required, unless states otherwise in job description.

Floating is required and mandatory for all units. All travelers will be expected to float to any area at UMHS as a Patient Observer (PTOB) – “Sitter.”. PCU may float to MS or ICU units.

Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
