Requirements

Experience

18 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from any number of months.

1 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from the last 12 months

3 months of experience with McKesson is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.

No block scheduling.

D/N Rotation

Must have surgical experience

Must have experience caring for patients after vascular, thoracic, colorectal and general surgery.

The most common diagnosis’s on their unit: ARDS, esophagectomies, whipples, sepsis

RN Patient ratios on days is 4:1 and on nights is 5:1

Required Experience:

Chest tubes
Tubes
Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone
Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients
Trachs/Laryngectomies
Telemetry
Complex wounds
Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws

On Call: Yes

36 guaranteed hours

Must have telemetry experience.
