Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required.
24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license

Additional Details:

Guaranteed 36 hours per week

  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: ETOH, drug abuse, pneumonia, COPD, CHF, DKA, homeless, Neuro/ spine, trauma, ortho, COVID. Central line dressing changes, wound vacs. They mix meds on this unit- will provide training.

  • Experience or 'Must have' skills: Tele background, Neuro/ spine- knowing precautions with moving and bracing. One year of experience is a must. IV skills- they do not have an IV team.

  • RNs required to titrate drips.

  • RNs run strip beginning of the shift and every 4 hours. Need to be able to verify strips. Must be able to identify lethal arrhythmias

  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend- Sat/ Sunday for days and nights

  • Holiday Requirement: Would like flexibility in working holidays. Would not be every holiday.

  • Is there a call or standby requirement? No- could be put on call for low census.

  • Floating Requirements: Can float to like units. Worked into preeminent staff rotation for floating.

  • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color or design as long as it is not revealing, and it looks professional. No dangling jewelry, long hair pulled back.
