Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience is required from last 4 years.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license

Guaranteed Hours: 40

M-F

On call,

First to float, will float to Lakeside & Immanuel (Omaha)

Rotating holiday call

Weeknight/Call Requirements: yes, 1-2 days/wk

Weekend/Call Requirements: Yes, one weekend/month

Holiday/Call Requirements: rotating holiday call

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: CAD, STEMI, CARDIAC

Job Duties: RN for cath procedures, also back up RN for TEE, CV, Loop recorder insertion, etc

Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient? Acute IP, OP

Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties: Cath lab experience, diagnostic and balloon angioplasty caths. Prefer experience with cardioversions, loop recorders, EP cases.

Do you allow self-scheduling or Block scheduling? Weekdays no, there is some input to oncall scheduling

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Wear hospital provided surgical scrubs

RTO needed upfront - Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
