If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only). RTO must be listed at time of submission.
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Previous perm employees of Swedish may qualify for travel contracts in the O.R. UNITS at First Hill on a case by case basis. Perm candidates of any OTHER providence facility ( NON SWEDISH ) are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for a min of 3 months. All Swedish facilities honor active compact license.
Required: General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Colorectal Surgery, Podiatry, ENT, Dental, Peds, Plastics, Maxillofacial, Gynecology, Thoracic, Bariatric, Pulmonary, Urology, Vascular, Endovascular / Hybrid, Transplant (Liver, Kidney)
Must have Robotics, Vascular and Plastics experience. NO EXCEPTIONS
Minimum experience required-2 years. Screen 1st time strong travelers
Call requirement: Three weeknight call shifts 11p-7a and three weekend call shifts 7a-7p or 7p-7a, per 6 week schedule. Call response time is 30 minutes from being called. Floating is required.
All candidates who were a previous perm employee of ANY Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a min of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. No exceptions.
Floating: All travelers are expected to float to another unit within their scop of practice if needed. The facility has a designated float team that floats first however, in the event there is a need at another campus travelers will float first before perm staff. All facilities are within a 40-mile radius or less. In the event that the traveler needs to float, it their responsibility to find transportation to the facility they’re floated to. Traveler’s refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
REFERENCES - Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year (6 months for CNA’s) of employment total within the last three years within a comparable specialty/setting that they are booked
