Requirements
Experience
22 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required.
3 months of experience with Epic is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 24 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Additional Details:

-If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only). RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

Weekends Required

Floating: All travelers are expected to float. Travelers regularly float between various like units, within skill set.

L&D and Post Partum experience is required.

Shift: 3 or 4 x 12hr shifts

Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48h Contract Approved

Scrub Color: Any (no reddish orange permitted)

RTO: Aya Offer: < 5 Days. Client Offer: > 5 Days. Anything more than 5 Days will potentially delay your offer while we run approval by the client. To minimize turn around, please limit total RTO requests.

Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD).

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission: Please notify of BG or Nursys hits at time of submittal; can submit with BG/Nursys hits, but must present to client for written approval.

Return Staff Policy: 3 month rule to return as traveler

Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
