24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours 48

Shift: 6:45-7:15, all 12 hour

Every Other Weekend; Rotate with permanent staff

Yes, to all acute care and cardio to take care of medical, or EC for acute care patient holds

Beds on unit: 14

Diabetic, CHF, COPD, GI bleed, renal failure, dialysis (they have a dialysis nurse ), some overflow post Surgicals, amputations, debridments, wound care, DVTs, ETOH, psych (in future may have hospice-not live yet)

Need to have experience with same type of hospital acuity, no CAH. Need experience at a larger organization with high acuity, high turnover and fast pace.

Caribbean Blue top and bottom OR White top and Caribbean Blue bottom OR all white top/bottom.
