Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 4 years.

Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

LPNs only: Must have previously worked on at least (1) a travel assignment with Trusted and have a reference from that assignment

Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients Pneumonia, UTI, AMS, GI bleed, Alcohol w/d, falls/weakness.

.Schedule is made out by the manager who will work with staff around any requested time off (RTO). Travelers are expected to be flexible and help to fill gaps in permanent schedule. "

Weekend Requirement Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement: "May be asked to go in the Holiday Rotation.

Holidays go by rotation for RN's. PCT's do not have scheduled holidays, they work if it lands on their scheduled day."

Floating Requirements Floating and shift pull rotation. May be floated to any other MS, MS-Tele, or IMC for lower acuity pts on the floor.

Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided?: "RN: Navy blue.
