Holiday Rotation
If not RN, applicant must have CCS or CDRMS credentials. If applicant is a RN, must have cardiac rhythm experience
CCDS or previously credentialed
Education Requirements: Associate Degree in related health sciences, or equivalent, with an Associate Degree in cardiovascular, cardiopulmonary, nursing or biomedical electronic sciences or a Bachelor’s Degree in cardiovascular/cardiopulmonary sciences beneficial.
Special Unit Skills:
Knowledge of ECG interpretive skills (identification and differentiation of arrhythmia), cardiac clinical assessment, and routine cardiovascular pharmacological agents (indications, use and effects).
Knowledge of the technological aspects of devices (pacemakers, ICDs) i.e., pulse generators, leads and electrodes, sensing, stimulation, timing cycles, algorithms and defibrillation concepts.
Able to do programming checks preferred (not required)
A working knowledge of the 4 major programmers (Medtronic, Abbott, Boston Scientific, Biotronik)
Ability to do remote monitoring
