Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Emergency Department experience is required from last 12 months.
Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Additional Details:

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Hours: No guarantee for weekends off. However we work really hard for a fair schedule

Charge experience required.

Float Requirements: Travelers required to float to ED Holding

Additional Notes: Level 2 trauma center with 4 Critical care bays. Teleneurology for stroke in cooperation with Mass General Hospital; No PICU - transfer out

Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Pediatrics to Geriatrics

Must Have Skills/Experience: Non Trauma Emergency Department, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Ventilated patientsTriage

Dress Code: Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Wide range of patients from Pediatrics to Geriatrics. Most of the area is economically depressed. We are a level 2 trauma center, Chest pain center, primary stroke center.
