Trauma Level 3
These positions require the Step down RN to be able to have skills documented showing that they can work at least three of the units below. ICU MS, ER, Step-Down, Med-Surg, L&D
MS/Tele, Stepdown and either ICU or ER would work for the 3 units
The resume MUST reflect where they have experience working the 3 units they are skilled to float between. The profile MUST also include a skills checklist for ALL THREE units the traveler states they can work. failure to provide this documentation will result in the submittal being declined until the proper information has been received.
If they go to OB they need NRP and Fetal Monitoring.
They need to have the flexibility to go to other departments that are at a faster pace than the ICU. The ICU takes a 1-2 patient load, and PSS takes a 1-7/8 patient load, Medical is 1-6 and PCU is 1-4/5.
