Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Cardiac Clinic experience is required from last 12 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Shift: Varied between 630a - 5p

No weekends

Holiday: Rotation

No call.

If not RN, applicant must have CCS or CDRMS credentials.

If applicant is a RN, must have cardiac rhythm experience and WI RN license.

Certified Clinical Device Specialist (CCDS) credential preferred, or previously credentialed preferred.

A clinical RN that works with Cardiac devices

Education Requirement: Associate Degree in related health sciences, or equivalent, with an Associate Degree in cardiovascular, cardiopulmonary, nursing or biomedical electronic sciences or a Bachelor’s Degree in cardiovascular/cardiopulmonary sciences beneficial.

Knowledge of ECG interpretive skills (identification and differentiation of arrhythmia), cardiac clinical assessment, and routine cardiovascular pharmacological agents (indications, use and effects).

Knowledge of the technological aspects of devices (pacemakers, ICDs) i.e., pulse generators, leads and electrodes, sensing, stimulation, timing cycles, algorithms and defibrillation concepts.

Able to do programming checks preferred (not required)

Ability to do remote monitoring

Preferred: Experience with Epic EMR and/or PaceArt
