Requirements
Experience
3 months of travel experience is required.
24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license

Additional Details:

Travelers must have a permanent address outside of the 75 mile straight line radius of intended facility, not driving distance.

Anyone granted a covid vaccine exemption must comply with weekly testing and proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

On call, weekends and holidays may be required.

Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required.

Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.

Minimum 2 years’ experience current required in Med/Surg/Tele or Progressive Care unit required

ICU Experience also preferred and a plus.

Position will float to other areas - most likely ICU - as needed but will only be required to perform skills within scope of practice.

Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.

Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.

Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.

Scrubs: RNs may wear any solid color. The scrub top, pant, and jacket (if worn) must be the same solid color to match.\

Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position

Traveler must provide current Cardiac Arrhythmia prior to assignment.
