Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

RN will start in the ED, then go with the patients to ICU and/or Intermediate Cardiology.

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

• Weekend Hours: 3 weekend nights a month

• Call Requirements: none

• Float Requirements: Float between ED, ICU, PCU and Cardiology UNITS

• Additional Notes: MUST have experience in a float pool / Critical Care

Patient Ratios: ICU 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4

• Equipment: Ventilators, IV pumps, titrating drips, wound vac, Continuous cardioresp monitoring, IMPELLA ballon pump, CEEG

• Patient Population e.g. adult

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Management of Ventilator, titrating drips

• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: general ICU accepting all ICU patients, trauma, med/surg
