Travel Nurse (RN) - Psychiatric Unit

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only) Wellfound includes the expected start date they prefer on their job postings. Please keep this in mind when listing your start date availability! If you can start on the day they are requesting, you are more likely to be selected for an interview or offer.

Wellfound requires that a MOAB or CPI certification be obtained by all travelers. MOAB is not offered on site so you would need to have this prior to start, or the CPI can be done online through Calm Every Storm and the hands-on portion can be done after you start.

Guaranteed Hour: 36.

No holiday RTO.

Charge prn required: facility will train - Charge experience NOT required

Required Certifications: MOAB or CPI.

Patient Types: Adult (18-65) Psych, they do use seclusion, they do not do Detox or SUD (substance use disorder).

Skills required: Blood draws (mandatory), medication passes, psych de-escalation techniques (security on site does NOT lead codes), run groups, documentation, EMR experience, seclusion and restraint experience preferred.

Support on the Unit: Charge nurse, 24/7 Hospitalist & 24/7 Psych providers on site, Medical providers on site during the day, Social Worker, Care Coordinator, Rec Therapist, HUC, & MHTs

Scheduling: weekend rotation: every other

Scrub Color: Any.
