Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required.
24 months of Cardiac Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
Experience with Epic is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Universal Care: Varying levels of care ICU, PCU, Med Surg cardiac and vascular patient

Cardiac and vascular patient population. Post op recovery of these patients and post procedure patients from cath lab.

We are also stroke designated as well and take some CVA patients. CHF and any other cardiac and vascular related diagnosis. Impella, ballon pump, ventilators, BIPAP, CPAP, amio, nitro, nicardapine, epi, cardizem. Multiple other cardiac medications for blood pressure management

ICU Exp Required but CVICU preferred

RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated

EKG exam required.

Adults- varies depending on acuity: 1:2 for ICU, 1:4 for PCU 1:5 for med surg
