Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Speech-Language Pathology experience is required from last 4 years.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours 40 hours per week

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Neurologic-CVA, MS, Parkinson, Guillain Barre, cranial surgeries, spinal surgeries, only thing we don't typically TBI; general medical, orthopedic-total joints, fractures; cardiac-pacers, CABG, valve replacements; oncology, don't see transplant patients.

Must be able to evaluate and treat both dysphagia and cognitive deficits. Proficiency in performance of MBSS/VFSS FEES (fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation) also available but not required.

Weekend Requirements: 2 weekend days per month. allow for more weekends if a weekend schedule is preferred.

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color scrubs or business casual accepted.
