Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required.
12 months of Emergency Department experience is required.
Experience with Epic is required.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Oregon license

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

May submit either ENPC or PALS

ER Shift Start times - D/E/N rotation is scheduled in 4 week blocks. The RN could be on one block the entire contract or could be asked to switch to a different one with advanced notice.

Please confirm at submittal that your traveler is aware and agrees the to the scheduling terms, they MUST be willing to work any or all of the shifts below.

Do you have a separate Triage area & do you allow/require travelers to do Triage? separate triage area consisting of 2 rooms

Do you have a separate holding area in the ER or are ER holds intermixed w/in the ER? Do ER RN's manage their own ER holds?" we have 2 psych hold rooms that are separate from the main ED. we have overflow psych area that is also separate from the main ED.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients CP, COPD, DKA, Trauma, Stroke,

Experience or 'Must have' skills Mental health, ETOH, overdoses

ED Physicians/Mid-Levels yes, both

RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Does RT do ABG's, breathing tx, EGS's? Yes to all

Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips? Every room is equiped with Spacelabs monitors. We have a monitor tech 24/7.

Weekend Requirement every other

Holiday Requirement granted at least one off Thanksgiving day, Christmas day, Independence day, New Year's day, Memorial day, Labor day

Is there a call or standby requirement? no

Floating Requirements no

Scrub Color/Dress Code any scrubs, no uniforms

Unit/Department specific orientation at least 2 days of orientation before start of rotation
