Additional Details:

This is an “Auto Offer” position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be facilitated upon request. This request should be made upon submission.

CPI Blue card proof is required for ED and Peds ED.

Candidates must work Christmas.

Candidates must have housing - upon offer , candidates must be able to acquire housing independently.

Patient Ratios : 4:1 typically- medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds.

Unit staffing description- Techs available- work in cardiac monitoring unit and the internal processing area, triage, Unit clerks days and nights.

Type of equipment : baxter pumps, GE monitors.

Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend, can’t commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the dept.

Floating policy: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED.

Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, Respectful behavior, Pt Experience to each patient, Boards updated with info and PT updated throughout visit.

Requested Skill Set: 2 years’ experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume > 100,000 visit ED. Previous HCA experience preferred.

Must have: 2 years’ experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting, teamwork mentality, ability to coach and give feedback in real time. Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED.

Dress Code: Navy scrubs

ENPC within 90 days of hire.
