No RTO will be approved during the following dates:
-Mother’s Day Weekend: 5/10 - 5/12
-Memorial Day Weekend: 5/24 - 5/26
-Father’s Day Weekend: 6/14 - 6/16
-Fourth of July Weekend: 7/3 - 7/7
Scheduling:
-Unit is open to routine procedures Monday - Friday, 0630-1630 and available for emergencies 24/7
-Shift times: 2 types- (4- 10hr shifts per week with rotating off day 0630-1630) and (3- 12hr shifts per week with rotating off days)
-On call- staffing dependent but typically every 4th weekend and 1 night during the week.
-Holiday Expectations: Will be treated equally between core staff and travel staff. Core staff are required to cover 1 Winter holiday (Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, and New years) and 1 Summer holiday (July 4th, Memorial day, Labor Day)
-Time Off: Approved by Manager.
Orientation: 2 shifts in unit, 1-2 shifts in education/ onboarding
Floating: Only to other procedural areas if skillset applies- for ex: cath lab pre/ post area
Will accept a first-time traveler with at least 2-years experience.
Patient Types: Outpatient and Inpatient: Biopsies, UFE’s, Kyphoplasties, Port placement, Dx angiograms, Interventional Arterial procedures, Interventional Venous procedures, IVC placement, Venous Thrombectomies, Neurological Thrombectomies, Coilings, Aneurysm rupture repair, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis
Skills required: ICU care, moderate sedation, art line, medication titration, chest tube
Scrub Color: Any color, green provided if in procedure
Parking: In assigned areas of hospital, parking deck
