Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
6 months of Burn Intensive Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.
Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Guaranteed Hours 36

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Holidays: 2 out of 3 holidays

Call: If census dictates with a drop, will put on call

Floating: Yes, PICU, peds or adult ICU - first to float

Beds: 7-adult and peds (average daily census 4)

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Primary burns (ICU level to med surg level) for adults and children

Must have 1 year of burn experience in a BURN UNIT Floating to a burn unit does not count.

Additional Notes: A minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience in a burn ICU

Basic EKG interpretation test assigned to them during orientation. Critical care RNs (ED/ICUs/PICU) will have more than just the basic interpretation test (like those included in the STEMI curriculum and Procedural Sedation curriculum assigned to them).
