Experience
24 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

Med/Surg & ICU skills required for Blended Med/Surg and ICU unit, may work ICU or M/S.

Every Third Weekend. Holiday Requirement: Every 3rd (At least one holiday w/in contract). No On Call.

1:4 or 5 for M/S patient, 1:2 ICU patients.

Ability to read Remote Telemetry Strips required as position will need to read them once per shift in ICU.

Float Requirements: Minimal if any (rare)- If floating was needed- no patient assignment is given just to assist within scope. We typically float our staff first

Proof of background initiation and proof of lab/DS appt must be emailed to Vaya compliance team within 48 hours.

Compliance/Lab Note: Vacation/Work schedule interference - If candidates are not able to go into the labs ASAP after signing, it may lead to a cancellation. Candidates should be aware that they will need to adjust their schedule accordingly to go in for labs for their new assignment within the timeframe required.
