Requirements

Experience

12 months of Nurse Management experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

Additional Details:

References must be from the 2 different places of employment within the past 3 years.

Patient population: COPD with exacerbation, CHF, heavy emphasis on swing bed (average stay is 12 days) to keep patients local and care for patients with amputations, wound care, long term antibiotics, ect. There are some post partum and pediatric patients on this unit.

Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.

A minimum of one year of prior nursing supervisory experience.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required, Masters in Nursing is preferred.
