Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from last 3 years.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

Block scheduling can not be guaranteed.

36-hour guarantees only (no 48s) – can pick up additional shifts

Must work 2 of 3 major holidays.

Travel pairs cannot request the same schedule

Weekend Requirements: 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule. Noc: Fri/Sat. Day: Sat/Sun.

Will be On-Call-as much as you like, not mandatory

Floating Requirements: NICU/Peds/Womens as well as MedSurg or ICU with appropriate patient assignment- downgraded, or RDU.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: 28 weeks and above, lot of HTN, 7-10% no prenatal care

Experience: Must be able to do a vaginal exam. Scalp electrodes, Circulate a C-section, Newborn transitions, Assist anesthesiology, IV starts, Blood draws, APGARS assignments-must know, Postpartum hemorrhage control- SIM lab coming-fall 2023, Epidurals, Amnio infusion. Water birth-not a must have, just for knowledge. Preferred: experience with spinning babies.
