Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required.

Experience with Epic is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Types of patients: MedSurg/Tele - joint replacements, fractures, colon resections, COPD exacerbation, prostatectomy, cellulitis, sepsis, ortho trauma, GI bleeds, pneumonia, failure to thrive

Should have some Tele awareness.

Shift / Schedule: Self scheduling. Travelers will be scheduled.

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

Will approve a limited amount of block scheduling

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend

Holiday Requirements: 2-3 Holidays from Thanksgiving to New Years.

Floating Requirements: Yes, to other medical surgical areas or units with MedSurg patients waiting for a MedSurg bed

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

RTO needed upfront. Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
