Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Operating Room experience is required from any number of months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Travelers must have a permanent address outside of the 75 mile straight line radius of intended facility, not driving distance.

Anyone granted a covid vaccine exemption must comply with weekly testing and proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

1 reference must be from current manager.

Requested Time Off (RTO) must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval RTO submitted after the acceptance date will not be approved.

Required: 2 years’ experience current required in large OR. Ortho, EENT, and/or vascular experience a plus. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

BLS, (ACLS, and PALS if obtained) must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.

Candidate must be able to scrub.

Shift: Varied days Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. Weekends, on call, and holidays may be required.

Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.

Orientation: Is the first week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes.

Scrubs: Required and provided.
