Requirements
Experience
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Psychiatric Unit experience is required from last 2 years.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a New York license

CPI (Required)
ACLS (Required)
Vaccinations
COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

As of 1/1/24 – all new and returning agency staff must have de-escalation training as part of their onboarding and clearance.

All new and returning agency staff must have completed training from one of following groups for onboarding and clearance. Welle - https://www.welletraining.com (Verbal De-escalation bundle training required) OR CPI - https://www.crisisprevention.com

Patient Ratio: Depends on Census

Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric

Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. RTO requests after upload will not be approved.

Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. No hoodies.

Required:

Experience with Pediatric, Adolescent, and Adult Patients

Recent travel experience

Experience with de-escalation of agitated patients

De-Escalation Training of any kind, CPI or NAPPI/Welle Certifications

Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
