Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from last 12 months.

24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license

Additional Details:

No Block Scheduling requests Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Cannot have an employment gap of more than 90 days (regardless of reason) in the past 12 months.

Documentation system: CPN and Meditech

Scheduling requirements: 4 weekend shifts/month

Floating policy: Can float to m/b or outside department to task

Certificate: Fetal monitoring AWHONN

Must have: Ability to support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities specific to patient preference.

Advanced skills needed: Spinning babies helpful,

Dress Code: (Required uniform) Hot pink and black. May wear black on bottom but preferable hot pink on top.

We perform couplet care in our postpartum unit to allow the newborn to never have to leave the bedside and promote breastfeeding with the additional of donor milk availability when needed.
