Additional Details:
A minimum of 2 years acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
Weekends and holidays as needed.
A strong background in cardiac tele is required for this unit.
RN may also be assigned to work med/surg COVID area, if needed.
The Cardiology Nurse is responsible for managing the care of the adult or geriatric patient experiencing acute, chronic, and/or terminal cardiovascular diseases, comorbid medical conditions, and associated procedures.
The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications and monitor patient response, monitor and interpret telemetry, and provide patients and families with support and education.
