Requirements

Additional Details:

In the interest of expediting your submission, please list the specialties/unit in which you've worked in and all applicable instrumental/tray processing fields you have experience with (Example: General, OB/GYN, ENT, Plastics, Urology, Ortho, etc.) on your work history.

Shift: Monday-Friday

Minor holidays are required.

Mandatory Overtime: During Personnel’s assignment with Client, he or she is considered part of the unit and will be included as part of the rotation pool of staff (i.e., Client employees and Personnel) who are required to work additional hours on an as-needed basis to ensure coverage for the unit.

Float: Client may float or reassign Personnel to a different department, unit, or facility (within 30 miles of the Personnel’s originally assigned facility) within the Personnel’s clinical competence.

This position is responsible for decontaminating, processing, assembling, sterilizing and storing surgical instrumentation and medical equipment and assembles case carts for surgical procedures.

Rotation to all Central Sterile and Distribution areas is required.

Required Upon Submission:

  • Two (5) years of experience in a hospital setting involved in the sterilization, decontamination, processing, assembly, storing and distribution of surgical instrumentation, supplies, devices and equipment.
  • CAPABLE OF RUNNING Olympus OER WASHERS.
  • CR-CST OR CBSPD REQUIRED.
