Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from last 3 years.

24 months of Neurologic Intensive Care Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

ACLS (Preferred)

TNCC (Preferred)

Additional Details:

Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU) - Required

Rotating 7a/7p

Orientation Dates: 4/14 or 4/28

36 or 48 hours - No Guaranteed Hours

Weekends: 3 of 6 weekends

Call: 2-on call per 6-week schedule

Holidays: As needed

Float as needed to area of like skill set/ ICU/IMC

Patient Types: The patients in the Neuro ICU suffer from severe brain injuries, stroke or brain tumors and many are post-op from a neurosurgical procedure.

Specialize in post-operative neurosurgical care to neurologically complex patients such as those with stroke, brain tumors, and nerve and muscle diseases
