Travel Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Unit

Guaranteed Hours: 48

26 week contract highly preferred, 13 accepted

Will you accept a first-time traveler? No – must have completed at least 1 travel assignment – will not have much orientation.

Patient Types: -Cardiac post procedural – Traveler must have Cardiac Telemetry experience – please decline without this and note this reason on the CIS Dashboard.

-Cardiac medical and post-surgical/procedures—CHF, angina, acute MI, NSTEMI, cardiac arrest, arrhythmias, TAVR, watchman, CABG, MVR, AVR, EP studies, pacemaker/AICD, TEE, TTE, stress tests, s/p cardiac cath, protocols in place to load IV amiodarone or adjust insulin, diltiazem and epidural drips.

-All beds have telemetry monitoring on the unit.

Skills required: -Chest Tubes, temp pacemakers (preferred not required), Cardiac drips (Cardizem, amiodarone) – protocols for rate changes Reading/Interpreting Rhythm strips.

Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Every other.

Holiday Expectations: manager approval.

Approval of time off? Ok to approve up to 6 days, must extend if requesting a full week off.
