Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

Travel experience is required from last 12 months.

24 months of Pediatric Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.

BSN completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Vaccinations

RNs only: If CA state licensure is 3 months or less from expiration, proof that the renewal process has been initiated is required to apply

RNs only: BSN is required.

Shift: 12H Days - Variable start times.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Peds PACU or Cath/EP Lab Experience

Pediatric/congenital heart Experience

Moderate Sedation Experience

Radiation Safety (RHB) knowledge and working with the use of Fluoroscopy.

Preferred 5 years Pediatric in/outpatient Experience

Preferred Pediatric Pre-op/Recovery/PACU Experience

Ability to float to other UCSF Facilities.

Prior Teaching Hospital Experience preferred.

Float Policy: At any time during assignment, resources may be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility (within 75+ radius) if the resource satisfies the requisite Job Specifications. Please ensure this is discussion at time of submission, and time of offer.

Travel Pairs: travel pairs are allowed, but generally will not be on the same unit. Married couples may not work on the same unit.
