In times of crisis, nurses rise to the challenge; we run toward the challenge. This has been our history since before Florence. In wars, epidemics, and pandemics; when the public needs healing and support, nurses are there.
Today, we are now facing another pandemic, with infections of COVID-19 continuing to rise throughout the world, and we need nurses now more than ever. In the work we’re doing at Trusted, we see nurses making the informed choice to enter infection hotspots, care for infected patients, and courageously put themselves at higher risk in order to support those in need.
Nurses are extraordinary and are the core of the healthcare system, and we are proud to help connect them with roles in which they can, and do, take up to improve and save lives.
We have been hard at work here at Trusted making sure we can best support our nurses as they face coronavirus head on in order to stifle its spread. We’re on a mission to provide everyone with the care they deserve and are dedicated to doing our part to support those delivering care, especially now as we work to limit the spread of the virus.
We understand the inherent risk of being on the front lines of patient care during a situation like this, and we have worked around the clock to ensure that nurses continue to feel supported and cared for throughout this uncertain time. From screenings to additional resources, we are working to ensure clinicians have what they need and can remain safe themselves so that they can deliver world-class care.
This also includes assurance that their needs won’t be compromised in the event that they are exposed during care delivery. Trusted is committed to ensuring that our on-contract nurses are able to receive up to 14 days of wages and stipends if they’re required to be quarantined and thus unable to work for that period of time.
As schools close, travel is banned, and nurses get infected or sick (and quarantined), there will be a massive need for clinical experts to continue care delivery. Nurses are needed now more than ever!
If you are interested in jumping into the frontlines of the fight against COVID-19 (see our current COVID-19 jobs here), you can “Message us” at the bottom of our homepage to start a live chat, or build out your Trusted profile, connect with our team, and see what opportunities we have for you to support our national healthcare system during this uncertain time.
This is the Year of the Nurse, and it’s certainly a year that needs nurses more than ever.
