Travelers must have a permanent address outside of the 75 mile straight line radius of intended facility, not driving distance.
Anyone granted a covid vaccine exemption must comply with weekly testing and proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
Shifts: start time 0700 - 3 Weekend shifts in a 4 week scheduling period - Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first tofloat within facility and to alternate locationswithin 20 miles of permanent assigned location and to all areas in which theyare trained, including the ED and alternate holding areas to care forappropriate patients, including PresNow ED/UC (freestanding urgent/emergent care facilities)
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
Experience: 2 years’ experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required.
BLS and ACLS from the American Health and Safety is acceptable.
Traveler must pass the BCA testing during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not passthe BCA test will be dismissed.
Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
Scrubs: required and not provided by the facility.
No holiday RTO will be approved for travelers
Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
