Requirements
Experience
3 months of travel experience is required.
24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Travelers must have a permanent address outside of the 75 mile straight line radius of intended facility, not driving distance.

Anyone granted a covid vaccine exemption must comply with weekly testing and proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

  • Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval.
  • Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
  • No Holiday RTO

2 years’ experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required.

BLS and ACLS from American Health and Safety is also accepted

Traveler must provide or pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia/Dysrhythmia Assessment (BCA) exam prior to or during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.

Start time 0700 - 4 Weekend shifts in a 4 week scheduling period

Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location and to all areas in which they are trained, including the ED and alternate holding areas to care for appropriate patients, including PresNow ED/UC (freestanding urgent/emergent care facilities)

ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.

SCRUBS: For RNs ONLY (does not apply to OR as those are provided) RNs may wear ANY solid color. The scrub top, pant, and jacket (if worn) must be the same solid color to match.

1 reference must be from current manager.
