Guaranteed Hours: 40
Will accept first time travelers if they have experience in home health and hospice
Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
There are 3 primary field locations for this position – area served will be discussed during the interview: Rapid City, Custer/Hill City, Hot Springs
Patient Types: Home Health and Hospice
Patient Ratios: Approximately manage a case load of 20-25 patients
Required Education: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
Required: Oasis, hospice philosophy, infection control practices, wound vacs, wound care, picc line dressing changes, port access, IV infusions, drains, critical thinking skills, catheter insertion, drains.
Ability to drive at night
Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend
Call: Approximately one 12-hour call shift a week
Holiday Expectations: Will work Holidays
RTO: Requested on contract
Scrub Color: Any color of scrubs or business casual dress
